|The XBRL Foundation course incorporates our proven methods to promote learning, while making the material fun and engaging for the learner. The course will teach you to understand and use the key components and functionalities of Bloom’s taxonomy, Level 1 & 2. You will be introduced to characters representing real-life job roles and facing actual challenges that must be resolved. Case histories demonstrate – not just tell you – how to handle a multitude of situations.
There are five learning modules in the XBRL Foundation Certificate covering a broad range of topics, including a comparison of business reporting methods, the business requirements that drove the development of the XBRL Specification, the general architecture of XBRL, and the specifications main components and the basics of modeling for XBRL taxonomy development.
The modules are presented as a roundtable meeting, allowing learners to experience the deliberations and decision-making process around XBRL implementation as it might occur in the workplace. Various stakeholders such as regulators, filers, and technologists are represented.
